CPV One and Google Tag Manager

Easily Manage Conversion Tracking with Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager (opens new window) (GTM) is used for managing and deploying marketing tags on a website without modifying the code.

GTM lets you easily manage conversion tracking tools like CPV One's pixel and your lander or offer tracking scripts. This eliminates the need to modify your website code, making updates and maintenance a breeze.

Important Note: While CPV One | CPV Lab doesn't directly integrate with GTM, setting it up is just as simple as implementing their scripts without GTM. If you already have GTM on your website, the process is even easier.

FAQ

What if GTM says that they have detected malware?

  • The solution for this is to set up a custom tracking subdomain.

    • If you use this Tag on the yoursite.com website, then you will set up go.yoursite.com as a custom tracking domain in CPV One.
    • Then, you will select go.yoursite.com as the tracking domain in your campaign from CPV One.
    • All tracking links and tracking codes will use the go.yoursite.com subdomain instead of the default tracker domain (cli-xxx.clprdr.com).
  • This will be accepted by Google since you have the same root URL in the tracking code and in your website.
